Costa Rica & Mexico (Central American Championships), the first destinations for MCC in 2019

Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) squad will travel to Costa Rica and Mexico, as part of their 2019 overseas tours, which also includes tour’s to Nepal and Sierra Leone in the later part of the year. Unlike previous overseas tour schedules, the 14-day tour to Costa Rica and Mexico will see MCC play all their matches in the T20 format only.

MCC squad will play three matches against Costa Rica, their first stop, before travelling to Mexico to take part in the 7th edition of Central American Championships, which will mark the T20I debut’s for Mexico, Costa Rica, Belize and Panama. Mexico and Costa Rica women’s team’s will also play a three-match T20I series as part of 2019CAC.

All three matches against Costa Rica will be hosted at Los Reyes Polo Club, outside of San Jose. MCC are the defending Champions from the 2017 edition of Central American Championships held in Belize.
