Cricket Namibia (CN) have announced the 15-member U19 squad for the upcoming ICC U19 Cricket World Cup Africa region qualifiers in Rwanda from September 28th – October 07th, 2021 at Gahanga International Cricket Stadium in Kigali.
Namibia U19 team will compete against Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Nigeria for the lone qualification spot into the main draw of U19 World Cup in West Indies in 2022. Namibia missed out on the qualification for the previous edition in 2020, after having appeared in consecutive editions held in 2016 and 2018.
Cricket Namibia are organizing the National U19 Week festival in the final week of August 2021.
