Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) will be hosting back-to-back ODI tri-series events in the month of March 2022 towards 2023 Cricket World Cup (CWC) League 2 Championships. These series will be the 9th and 10th rounds of ODI tri-series in the scheduled 21 rounds in the Championships that began back in 2019 and has been getting postponed in the past couple of years due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Men’s teams from UAE, Oman and Namibia will be playing each other at ICC Academy ground and Sharjah Cricket Stadium from March 05th – 14th, 2022, with UAE then hosting Men’s teams from Nepal and Papua New Guinea (PNG) from March 15th – 22nd, 2022 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium and Dubai International Stadium. UAE and Oman are currently completing postponed fixtures between themselves from March 2020 and November 2021 in a 3-match series being played at Oman Cricket (OC) turf oval ground in Al Amerat from February 05th – 08th, 2022.
