Cyprus Cricket Association (CCA) will be hosting Men’s teams from Estonia and Isle of Man (IOM) in a T20I Tri-series tournament from October 06th – 08th, 2021 at Episkopi ground in Cyprus. Estonia will also play bi-lateral T20Is with Cyprus on October 05th to prepare for the Tri-series event.
It will be long awaited return to International cricket for both Cyprus and Estonia Men’s squads since the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak began in early 2020, while Isle of Man did play a solitary T20I (along with other regular T20 matches) with Guernsey during their tour to the Channel Island nation in August 2020. Estonia did play a International tournament recently at home, when they hosted teams from Lithuania and Latvia for a T20 tournament but with both the guest countries being non-Associates at the moment, none of the games carried official T20I status.
Cyprus Cricket is currently organizing the domestic competition for Men’s in both T20 and 40-overs formats, with BAO Financial being the sponsors for the tournaments and the events will conclude in the final week of September. The matches will be live streamed on YouTube channel of Estonia Cricket Association.
