Defending Champions of Hong Kong T20 Blitz, Kowloon Cantons have announced their 5 overseas players in the squad for the upcoming 3rd edition of the T20 League to be played at Mission Road from Feb 06th – 11th, 2018.

England spin-duo of Samit Patel & Ashar Zaidi also join the Cantons squad this year and completing the overseas line-up is Paul van Meekeren from Netherlands making up the provision of 1 Associate cricketer per franchise team.

The domestic line-up for Cantons include Hong Kong National captain Babar Hayat along with Ehsan Nawaz (retained), Waqas Khan, Ryan Buckley, Adeel Shafrique, Hussain Butt, Hassan Khan, Simandeep Singh, Sunny Bhimsaria, Saad Mahmood and Bobby Chan.

Cantons CEO Urvashi Sethi-Sodhi said: “While our allowance is to have six international players, only five would be able to play.

“At Kowloon Cantons we continue to fulfil our promise to promote cricket and our associate nation player, Paul, will be an integral part of our playing team. With this view, we have opted for five internationals on our team.”
