Denmark Cricket Federation (DCF) have announced their 14-member men’s national asuad, that will take part in the upcoming ICC CWC Challenge League Group A in Malaysia in Sep 2019.
Denmark will be competing against the host’s Malaysia along with Canada, Singapore, Vanuatu and Qatar in the 1st round of the Challenge League. Each Challenge League groups (A & B) will see the six team’s take part in 3 rounds of tournaments spread across 2019-2021, and play 15 List-A matches during the course of the event.
Denmark have had successful tours of Malaysia earlier, after securing qualification in Division 3 from Division 4 tournament in Apr 2018; however, the team did not manage to qualify for Division 2 in Oman in Nov 2018 and were placed in the Challenge League structure.
Denmark’s last International assignment was during their home T20I series against Finland, while some of the national squad members were part of the Svanholm Cricket Club squad during the inaugural edition of European Cricket League (ECL 2019) in Spain.
