Elite division One-day league resumes Denmark’s preparation for 2022

Denmark Cricket Federation (DCF) have announced the start of the men’s domestic Elite division competition in the one-day format (50-overs) from 30th April 2022. The eight (8)-team competition will see men’s teams from Svanholm, Soraner, Herning, Ishøj, Skanderborg, KB, Glostrup and Albertslund compete for the title.

With International matches and tours scheduled for the national squad in 2022 with trips to Canada and Malaysia for CWC Challenge League group A events and Europe sub-regional qualifiers for T20 World Cup in July in Belgium, the domestic tournaments are crucial for the preparation in the 50-overs format especially.

There is overseas participation in the competition as well, with Vanuatu national squad member Patrick Matautaava playing for Ishoj and having a good time in the matches played so far, with contributions with both bat and the ball.
