Denmark Cricket to host Spain Men’s Team for One-day series in May 2025

Danish Cricket Federation (DCF) will be hosting the Men’s National team of Spain for a three (3)-match series from May 29th – 31st, 2025. The matches will be played in the 50-overs format, and it will present both teams the opportunity to play One-day games. For Denmark, these matches will help the squad get together in the longer format of white-ball cricket, before the 2nd round of 2027 ICC Men’s CWC Challenge League group in August in Jersey. Spanish Men’s Team are looking at the opportunity to be part of the CWC Challenge League Qualifier for the next cycle of Men’s Cricket World Cup for the 2031 edition, having played their last One-day matches at the International level a long time ago (almost 5-7 years).

The Spain Team was chosen after the completion of the Juan Carlos – Rodriguez 50-over series held at La Manga from April 25th – 27th. Joshua Trembearth Moro, who has been playing Victoria Premier cricket in Australia last few years, get a look-in. Daniel Doyle Calle will be captaining the side with Yasir Ali with the vice captaincy duties, due to unavailability of Chris Munoz Mills.
