Netherlands Internationals Roelof van der Merwe and Paul van Meekeren have signed up for Nepal’s T20 league franchise, Biratnagar Warriors for the upcoming 2018 Everest Premier League from Dec 08th – 22nd.
Roelof van der Merwe is a renowned name in International cricket, having played for both South Africa and Netherlands at the International level. Add to that his extensive T20 league experience playing in IPL, BBL, CPL and Vitality Blast to name a few, and Biratnagar Warriors have secured the services of a hugely experienced T20 campaigner.
Paul van Meekeren is one of the most highly talented pace bowlers among the Dutch ranks and has been climbing up the International recognition ladder for quite some time now. Paul plays for English County Somerset in the English domestic season and has played in the T20 Blast for the county.

The signings complete the Biratnagar Warriors line-up after the withdrawal of Hong Kong captain Anshuman Rath, after he pulled out of 2018 Emerging Nations Cup due to a hand injury and wouldn’t be able to get fit on time for EPLT20.
