European Cricket League 2022 enters Group B round in Spain

European Cricket League (ECL) returns back in February 2022 after a hiatus of 2 years owing to COVID-19 pandemic, after the Inaugural edition was held back in 2019 at La Manga cricket club in Spain. This year’s edition will be held at Cartama Oval in Malaga, Spain from February 07th – March 18th, which was also the host ground for last year’s inaugural edition of European Cricket Championships T10 tournament.

In terms of scale, 30 Clubs from the European region will be taking part in the tournament, with five groups of six teams each where each group will be played on a weekly basis, before the winners of all the groups advance towards the Finals week from March 14th – 18th, 2022.

Zagreb Sokol players last participated in the ECS T10 tournament held in 2021 in Croatia and is their last outdoor cricket event played.
