The intiative that was brought forward by Fairbreak Global and Commonwealth Businesswomen’s Network in collaboration with Sir Paul Getty XI in May 2018 to bring forth the major Gender Equality issues faced by Women’s cricketers across the globe, is back again with more flair.

The 2019 program sees Fairbreak XI squad take a full-fledged tour of UK with three games slated between Jul 23rd – 29th, 2019. Their first match will be against Kent’s Invitational XI on 23rd Jul at Hayes Cricket Club, Bromley, followed by match against Sir Paul Getty XI on 25th Jul at Wormsley and conclude the tour with a match against MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club) on 29th Jul at UCS Hampstead.

The squad will be coached by Essex & Chance2Shine coach Saba Nasim, who was involved with the squad in 2018 as well. The 2019 program also sees a host of sponsors for the squad with Gencor, Kookaburra Cricket, ANP Solar, SOLARBUDDY.org and Globetrotter Travel on board. The squad itself will boast of players from 10 countries including players from Netherlands, Scotland, Germany, Hong Kong and Botswana along with players from England, Pakistan, India, Ireland and Australia.

The partnership between Kookaburra and Fairbreak will see Kookaburra’s balls and equipment being used in FairBreak’s competitions and academies, with current Australian women’s squad member Rachael Haynes serving as the ambassador for the program.
