One-day format the feature for Nepal with schedule announced for Gautam Buddha Cup

Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) have announced that the players involved in the men’s closed camp training at Tribhuvan University ground in Nepal will compete in a triangular one-day series from December 27th – 30th, 2020 at Gautam Buddha International Stadium in Chitwan.

The selected players will be part of the three teams, namely Bagmati, Rapti and Narayani. The teams will play each other in a single round-robin group stage, before the top two teams meet each other in the final.

Nepal Men’s national squad have a busy calendar in 2021-2022, with most of their CWC League 2 Tri-series scheduled to take place at home and abroad (subject to COVID-19 pandemic travel restrictions and regulations). The one-day domestic tournament will provide much required game-time in the middle for the senior squad members and the upcoming domestic talent, with spots on offer in the top and middle-order in the team.
