Ghana men’s squad to tour Rwanda for T20I series in August 2021

Rwanda Cricket Association (RCA) will be hosting men’s national squad from Ghana for a 5-match T20I series from August 16th – 21st, 2021 at Gahanga International Cricket stadium in Kigali, which will be live streamed on Rwanda Cricket’s YouTube channel. The series will see Rwanda men’s national squad play their maiden T20Is, with their previous assignment coming during the ICC Africa sub-regional qualifiers held at home in July 2018.

Ghana men’s national squad will themselves be playing only the 5th T20I in their record-books, with all the first four games and their last International assignment coming during the ICC Africa regional finals held in May 2019 in Uganda. Both Ghana and Rwanda are placed in the same group for the upcoming ICC Africa sub-regional qualifiers in Rwanda from October 14th – 23rd and the series will be crucial for both camps preparations. Players from both the countries have been playing domestic T20 competitions at home it the past couple of months.
