Guernsey Cricket to host 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Europe Sub-regional Qualifier C in August 2024

Guernsey Cricket will be hosting the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Europe Sub-regional Qualifier ‘C’ from August 21st – 28th, 2024. Men’s National teams from host’s Guernsey will be joined by Spain, Denmark, Finland, Czech Republic, Malta, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Greece and Estonia in the 10-nation event. The tournament will have two (2) groups of five (5) teams each, competing in a single round-robin group stage format, from which the top team from both the groups will compete in the FINAL, while there will be position play-off games also scheduled till 7th/8th spots in the final standings from the tournament.

Men’s teams from host’s Guernsey, Bulgaria, Malta, Finland and Estonia are placed in one group, while the other group comprises of teams from Spain, Cyprus, Denmark, Czech Republic and Greece. The winner of the tournament will join Netherlands, Scotland, Italy (winner of sub-regional qualifier A) and Jersey (winner of sub-regional qualifier B) in the Europe Qualifier in 2025.
