Guernsey Cricket Board (GCB) will be hosting the Men’s Academy squads from England’s County clubs Surrey and Hampshire at KGV Memorial playing fields on April 17th – 21st, 2025 for a Tri-series in the T20 format, namely the Academy Cup series. The series will begin the preparations for Guernsey Men’s team, ahead of a busy summer that includes European Qualifier for 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Netherlands in July 2025, where they will compete against the host’s, Scotland, Jersey and Italy for the two (2) qualification spots.
Following the visit by Hampshire and Surrey Academies, Guernsey Cricket will also host the Academy squad from Essex County Cricket Club on April 25th and 26th, for a three (3)-match series.
