To ensure that talent from top Associate member countries are identified and given appropriate platform to perform consistently in International Cricket, the recently held ICC High Performance programme workshop held in Madrid has put forward the plans to introduce the High Performance plan for 2019-2023.

The plan will be made country specific to allow Cricket Boards of Scotland, Netherlands, UAE, Canada, Namibia, PNG and Hong Kong make focus-based initiatives to improve on-field performances for their players. The plans will be supported and reviewed by International Cricket Council (ICC).

The programme is currently open to members who are part of World Cricket League Championship and WCL Division 2. The workshops will be held annually at different venues.
