Hong Kong Blitz franchise City Kaitak owners, City Sports,Hong Kong (part of the City Group of companies), have officially purchased the St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots franchise in the Caribbean Premier League (CPLT20).
SKN Patriots, with Chris Gayle at the helm, has finished as runners-up in the 2017 edition of the tournament and in third place in the 2018 edition. SKN Patriots also had Nepal’s Sandeep Lamichhane in their ranks in the 2018 squad.
With City Sports involvement, it could provide a pathway for their City Kaitak’s Hong Kong based talent to get an opportunity to play in the future editions of the CPL T20 league, which is among the Top 5 franchise-based T20 Leagues in the World.
