Cricket Hong Kong (CHK) have announced their 14-member Women’s squad for the upcoming ICC World Women T20 Asia regional qualifiers, to be held from Feb 16th – 27th, 2019 in Thailand.
Hong Kong Women will compete against team’s from Thailand, Nepal, UAE, Malaysia, Kuwait and China for one qualification spot into the global qualifiers for 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup / 2021 ICC Women’s World Cup. Hong Kong Women recently took part in the Thailand T20 Smash tournament, where they registered two victories to finish 5th in the 10-team tournament.
The qualifiers will be played in the T20 format with official T20I status for all matches. All matches will be played at Terdthai Cricket Ground and Asian Institute of Technology Ground.
