Romania Cricket to host Women’s Continental Cup in August 2026

Cricket Federation of Romania will be hosting the Men’s National teams of Turkiye, Austria, Isle of Man, Guernsey, Greece, Czechia and Norway in the Women’s Continental Cup tournament from August 26th – 30th, 2026, at the Moara Vlasiei cricket ground ovals in Bucharest. This edition will the fourth (4th) overall for the Women’s Continental Cup, with Norway Women being the Defending Champions from the previous edition held last year. With eight (8) teams participating this year, it becomes the highest number of entries recorded in all the editions held to this date.

The teams have been divided into two (2) groups of four (4) each, and the tournament will follow a single round-robin group stage format, following which, the top team in both the groups will compete in the Final, along with the runners-up from both the groups competing in the 3rd/4th Play-off game.

Latvia Cricket to host Men’s Baltic Cup in August 2026

Latvia Cricket Federation (LCF) will be hosting the Men’s National teams of Estonia, Lithuania and Poland in the Annual Men’s Baltic Cup T20 tournament on August 29th and 30th, 2026, at the Infinity oval ground. The Annual event has been taking place in Estonia since it’s inception, and this will be first time of the event getting hosted in another nation.

Teams of Latvia, Lithuania and Poland, who are currently non-members with the International Cricket Council (ICC), have played a good amount of International cricket within themselves this year, with Latvia and Poland meeting each other in August itself, during the Amber Cup Tri-series tournament.

Serbia Cricket to host Women’s T20I Tri-series in September 2026

Serbia Cricket Federation will be hosting the Women’s National teams of Bulgaria and Croatia for a T20 International Tri-series tournament (with ICC T20I team ranking points) from September 04th – 06th, 2026, at the Lisicji Jarak Cricket Ground in Belgrade. Croatia Women’s team will be playing their first-ever T20Is against both Serbia and Bulgaria, during the first leg of the double round-robin group stage format in the series. The team at the top of the points table at the end of the group stage will be the winner of the Tri-series tournament.

Czechia Cricket to host Women’s T20I Tri-series in September 2026

Czechia Cricket will be hosting the Women’s National teams of Belgium and Portugal in a T20 International Tri-series tournament (with ICC T20I team ranking points) from September 04th – 06th, 2026, at the Vinor Cricket Ground, Prague. The teams will play against each other in a double round-robin group stage format, before the 2nd and 3rd placed teams in the points table compete in the Qualifier to meet the top team in the Final.

All the teams will also be meeting against each other for the first time in T20Is during this Tri-series, while this will be only the second (2nd) time that Portugal Women will be in International action, having made their T20I debut last year at home in April, against Norway.

Denmark and Jersey Men to tour Scotland for OD games in August 2026

Cricket Scotland (CS) will be hosting the Men’s National teams of Denmark and Jersey for One-day games (50-overs) against their “A” team, as part of Denmark and Jersey’s preparations towards the final round of 2027 ICC CWC Challenge League Group A, which is scheduled to take place in September/October period (Host TBA, as there are reports that the originally scheduled host for the round, Qatar, may not be hosting it, due to ongoing conflicts in the West Asian region). Both the teams will be playing two (2) matches each against Scotland A, to start their preparations towards the event, which is part of the qualification pathway program towards the 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.

For Scotland, it provides the opportunity to provide continuous competitive game-time for the players, who are looking to breakthrough into the senior squad in the near future. The A Team have had matches against the likes of MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club), Canada and United Arab Emirates so far this year, as CS is committed to strengthen their player pool.

Cricket Germany to host Women’s Nordic Cup in August 2026

Cricket Germany will be hosting the Women’s National teams of Sweden and Denmark for the fifth (5th) edition of the Women’s Nordic Cup tournament from August 28th – 30th, 2026, at the GelsenTrabPark cricket ground in Gelsenkirchen. The Cricket Board of Germany will be hosting the tournament for the first time, with the German Women’s team to defend their Title from last year’s edition held in Denmark. The teams will be playing against each other in a double round-robin group stage format, with the Top team in the points table at the end of the competition, declared as the Winner.

This year’s edition will not be featuring Norway Women, who will be on tour of Romania at the same time, to compete in the Women’s Continental Cup tournament, which is going to be an eight (8)-nation event this year. Finland Women are also not going to be part of the edition this year, along with Norway.

Cricket Scotland to host Netherlands Women for ODI series in August 2026

Cricket Scotland (CS) will be hosting the Women’s National team of Netherlands for a three (3)-match One-day International series (with ICC ODI team ranking points) from August 28th – September 01st, 2026, at the Clydesdale Cricket Club ground and in Stirling. With no dedicated pathway structure in place for the Associate Member teams with Women’s ODI status (Scotland, Netherlands, Thailand, Papua New Guinea and United Arab Emirates), the Boards have to arrange matches/fixtures within themselves, to maintain their ODI team ranking on the points table.

This series will mark the first International assignment for the Netherlands Women’s Head Coach, Pierre de Bruyn. The series will also help the Teams come out of the T20 format, which they have been playing for the majority part of their International Cricket in the past couple of years now. These matches will help Netherlands team to regain their ODI ranking, after dropping out of the table due to not playing the minimum number of matches in the calculation time period.

Luxembourg Cricket to host Belgium Women for T20I series in August 2026

Luxembourg Cricket Federation (LCF) will be hosting the Women’s National team of Belgium for a four (4)-match T20 International series (with ICC T20I team ranking points) on August 22nd and 23rd, 2026, at the Pierre Werner Cricket Ground in Walferdange. For Belgium Women’s team, this series will be their first since their last International matches, that took place over a year ago in May 2025. Belgian Women’s team will be travelling to Czechia in the beginning of September to take part in a Tri-series tournament, involving the host’s and Portugal, whom they will be meeting for the very first-time in T20Is.

Norway Cricket to host Iran and Uzbekistan Men for T20I Tri-series in August 2026

Norwegian Cricket Federation (NCF) will be hosting the Men’s National teams of Iran and Uzbekistan for a T20I International Tri-series tournament (with ICC T20I team ranking points) from August 13th – 16th, 2026. It will be a historic series, involving two (2) of Asian region’s Associate teams, who have till date, only played in Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Asia Cup qualification pathway events, and this tour being their maiden overseas agreement, outside of their region. In fact, Uzbekistan team made their International debut in 2026, and competed in the upcoming Men’s Asia Cup qualification pathway tournament (50-overs) in Singapore, and followed it up by playing in a T20I Quadrangular Tournament (Asia Pacific Champions Trophy), also in Singapore.

Iran Men were previously seen in International action, that came during their appearance at the 2023 ACC Men’s Challenger Cup event (Asia Cup qualification pathway tournament) in Thailand in the 50-overs format.

NCF President Yousuf Gilani had confirmed this development back in June 2026 about the plans to host the Tri-series, and with the team having played competitive cricket during the recently concluded 2028 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Europe Sub-regional Qualifier B in Denmark, this will be a big opportunity for Iran and Uzbekistan to play against a much higher-ranked Team in the T20I rankings table.
