Cricket Kenya and Tanzania Cricket to host Africa Qualification events for ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2027

International Cricket Council (ICC) have announced the Africa region qualification pathway tournament schedule towards the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2027. Cricket Kenya (CK) will be hosting the Africa Division 2 Qualifier from March 06th – 15th, 2026 and will feature teams of Kenya (host), Malawi, Mozambique, Sierra Leone and Cameroon. The top two (2) teams from Division 2 Qualifier will then advance to the Africa Qualifier, which is slated to take place from September 25th – October 04th, 2026, and will be hosted by Tanzania Cricket Association (TCA).

Africa Division 1 Qualifier will see teams from Namibia, Uganda, Nigeria, Tanzania, Rwanda and Botswana joined by the two (2) qualifiers from the Division 2 tournament.
