International Stars light up opening 2 days action in US Open T20

International professionals from West Indies, England, Canada, Netherlands & Pakistan along with local US players lit up the fireworks on the first day of action in the US Open T20 tournament, being played at Central Broward Regional Park in Florida.

Jashkaran Malhotra (118 n.o off 59) and Darren Bravo (108 off 62) nearly managed to play out the full 20 overs but Bravo got out in the 20th over to take the US All Stars 2017 to 244/1 in their 20 overs.

Team Rebels Tampa lost regular wickets to get bowled out for 109 in 19 overs to lose the match by 135 runs. Dwayne Bravo (2/10), Muhammad Ali Khan (2/16), Atif Maqbool Ahmad (2/21) & Rajesh Sharma (2/26) completed a good bowling performance for the All Stars.

However, US All Stars 2017 were no match to Evin Lewis & Lendl Simmons opening stand which made the chase for California Bears 2017 easy to win their 1st match in the tournament.
