Japan Cricket Association (JCA) are organizing the 9th (ninth) edition of Japan Premier League T20 (JPL T20) tournament from May 03th – 05th at Sano International Cricket Ground. The tournament will be competed by five (5) teams, namely East Kanto Sunrisers, Kansai Chargers, South Kanto Super Kings, North Kanto Lions and West Kanto Hurricanes, facing each other in a single round-robin group stage format. The top two (2) teams in the points table at the end of the group stage will compete for the Title.
One of the key highlights for this season is the availability of Josh Brown for the tournament, who has played for Melbourne Renegades franchise in Australia’s Big Bash T20 competition. Japan Men’s National squad will be in International action after the conclusion of the JPL T20, as they play a bi-lateral T20I series at home against the visiting team of Mongolia.
