Japan Cricket Association (JCA) will organize the Men’s Japan Premier League (JPL) T20 tournament from May 05th – 07th, 2023 to begin the 2023 Senior domestic season, with live streaming of matches on YouTube channel of JCA.
Teams, namely East Kanto Sunrisers, West Kanto Hurricanes, South Kanto Super Kings, North Kanto Lions and Kansai Chargers will once again compete for the Title. National squad members begin their preparation towards participation in the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup East Asia-Pacific qualifiers (Finals) in Papua New Guinea in July this year. The U19 Men’s players also will be taking part in the National U19 league to be held from June to August 2023, while the players selected for the National team travels to Darwin in Australia for the East Asia-Pacific (EAP) U19 Qualifiers towards next year’s U19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka.
