Cricket Hong Kong’s T20 Blitz franchise JD Jaguars, have up the ante in terms of overseas professionals signings for the 2018 edition by adding current Netherlands International, Roelof van der Merwe to go along with their earlier signing of Australian Chris Lynn into their squad.
A prolific all-rounder for both Netherlands and English county, Somerset, van der Merwe switched his profile from South Africa to Netherlands a few years back and has been an integral part of the dutch set-up in both shorter and longer formats of the game.

Van der Merwe also has been a T20 globetrotter with experience in playing in the IPL in India, CPL in the Caribbean, Ram Slam T20 in South Africa and T20 Blast in England to name a few. He recently took part in the US Open T20 tournament in Florida as well.
Roelof van der Merwe has played close to 170+ T20 matches in his career so far amassing close to 2000 runs and more than 150+ wickets to his name.
