Scheduling matches with limited funds is not always possible for Spain against higher-ranked teams in the region. And there is also a possibility of not winning enough matches, that leads to negative ranking points. And from where they are right now in rankings, they can compete for CWC Challenge League qualifiers for 2031 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup as 4 teams outside of current cycle teams, if CWC League 2 and Challenge League structure continues.

They generally play T20I matches against relatively much weaker sides like Isle of Man and end up winning almost all the matches
