Cricket Kenya have announced a 14- member squad for their upcoming WCL Championship tour of UAE, where they are slated to play against Scotland on 6th & 8th Dec, 2017.
In preparation for the WCL matches, two friendly matches have been announced by Kenya against Nepal and USA on Saturday and Sunday respectively at Abu Dhabi. Nepal and USA also play a warm-up match against each other. USA will then head to Oman to play a 3-match 50-overs series against the Host’s.
5 teams including Netherlands (16 points) Papua New Guinea (16), Scotland (15), Hong Kong (14) & Kenya (12) are fighting it out for top 4 finish in the WCL points table to qualify directly for ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers.
