Korea Cricket to host 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup EAP Sub-regional Qualifier B in September 2024

Korea Cricket (South Korea) will be hosting the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup EAP Sub-regional Qualifier B in Incheon from 28th September – 05th October 2024 at Yeonhui Cricket ground (venue for the 2024 Asian Games), where National teams representing the countries of South Korea, Japan, Indonesia and Philippines will be competing in a double round-robin group stage format for the lone qualification spot into the EAP Qualifier. The winner of this event will join up with the winner of the sub-regional qualifier A taking place in August 2024 in Samoa , in the combined Asia and EAP Qualifier, along with Papua New Guinea, Nepal and Oman (who did not gain automatic qualification into the 2026 edition of the T20 World Cup in the June event through the 2024 edition held in the US and the Caribbean Islands).

There will be pre-tournament T20I matches (with ICC ranking points) taking place between the teams of Japan, Indonesia and Philippines on September 25th and 26th, before the start of the tournament proper.
