Hong Kong’s Kowloon Cricket Club played a T20 match against the touring Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), who are currently on their tour of China & Hong Kong.

The match saw MCC beat KCC by 49 runs in a high scoring game. Batting first, MCC rode on Stephen Snell’s brilliant 107 runs to post 184/9 in their 20 overs. None of the other batsmen could cross 20 in the entire innings. The next highest scorer for MCC was Yasir Arafat, who remained unbeaten on 18 runs.

Hong Kong national player Waqas Barkat picked up 4/40 in his 4 overs with Dan Pascoe (2/30) & Y Bayas (2/24) also getting into the wickets column.

In reply, Kowloon Cricket Club could only manage to score 135/7 in their 20 overs with Alan Wilkinson picking up 4/40 in his 4 overs. Kulhan Challu (28), Sunny Bhimsaria (33) & Dan Pascoe (32) were the main contributors to KCC’s total.

Kowloon Cricket Club play Nepal in a 50 overs match on October 10, 2017 as part of Nepal’s warm up match before their 2 WCL matches against Hong Kong.
