Kuwait Cricket (KCC) will be hosting the Men’s National teams of Malaysia and Hong Kong, China for a T20 International Tri-series (with ICC team ranking points) from August 20th – 28th, 2024 in Kuala Lumpur. Malaysian Cricket Association (MCA) will be acting as the Commercial partner for KCC for the organization of this series, which will be the final preparations for all the three (3) teams ahead of 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia sub-regional Qualifier A beginning in Malaysia from 30th August 2024. All teams will play each other in a double round-robin group stage format, following which the top two (2) teams in the points table will contest in the Final. The matches will be broadcasted live on the social media channels of Malaysia Cricket, Kuwait Cricket & the FanCode (Indian sub-continent), and KCC is also in talks with ICC to have the tournament live streaming covered on the icc.tv platform.
