Kuwait & Oman announce squads for U19 Asia Division 2 qualifiers

Kuwait Cricket and Oman Cricket have announced their respective 14-member U19 squads for the upcoming ICC U19 World Cup Asia Division 2 qualifiers, to be hosted by Thailand from Dec 09th – 14th, 2018.

U19 team’s from Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bhutan, Maldives, Kuwait, Qatar & Bahrain will be competing for two qualification spots into Division 1, in which they will join Nepal U19, UAE U19, Malaysia U19 and Singapore U19. Only the top team from Division 1 will qualify for ICC U19 World Cup in 2020 in South Africa.
Kuwait are placed alongside Hong Kong U19, Maldives U19, Bahrain U19 and China U19, while Oman are placed alongside Saudi Arabia U19, Bhutan U19, Thailand U19 and Qatar U19 in their respective groups.

Oman U-19 Squad for Asia Division 2 Qualifiers:

Prathamesh Kumble (Captain), Joel Biju, Mohammed Sameer, Amanpreet Singh, Siddhanth Gavankar, Azam Ali, Yash Mehta, Kevin Kattokaran, Sanjaya Ravindra, Sami Al Balushi, Muzahir Raza, Jeel Tanna, Neev Poojari & Adeel Abbas
