Malaysian Cricket Association (MCA) are preparing the Men’s national squad players for the upcoming final round of CWC Challenge League A group event at home in December 2022 by organizing matches between the MY Cricket Academy team and the National select squad in 50-overs format. The National team’s last One-day competition was during the second round of Challenge League event held in Canada a few months earlier. This will be followed by a T20 quadrangular tournament featuring three (3) select franchise teams of Malaysia and an overseas participant from Pakistan, Ghani Institute of Cricket club (GIC XI) and a one-day series comprising of two select squads of Malaysia Cricket and GIC XI team.
