Malaysia, Thailand and Maldives set for T20I Tri-series tussle

Malaysian Cricket Association (MCA) will be hosting a Men’s T20I Tri-series at Kinrara Oval from Jun 22nd – 30th, 2019. Malaysia will be hosting and competing against Thailand and Maldives in the tournament, which will be played in a double round-robin format.

Maldives made their T20I debut during the 2019 ACC Western Region T20 tournament, while Malaysia and Thailand are yet to play their official T20I matches yet. Malaysia are also scheduled to take part in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia regional finals in Singapore in Jul 2019.

All the matches in the Tri-series will be live streamed on Cricket Malaysia’s website. Maldives warmed-up for the Tri-series by playing three T20 matches against a MCA President XI squad made up of some of the national squad players.
