The ACC Asia Cup Qualifiers will be held in Aug/Sep 2018 in Malaysia where 6 countries will be competing for 1 qualification spot in the main draw of Asia Cup 2018.
Teams from Hong Kong, Malaysia, Nepal, Oman, Singapore & UAE will compete in the ACC Asia Cup Qualifiers. Malaysia will be hosting the 50-overs qualifiers from 27th Aug – 07th Sep, 2018.
The match schedule for the Qualifiers haven’t been announced yet. However, India and Pakistan will be playing in an ODI match via the 2018 Asia Cup in the UAE after a gap of over 12 years. The final of the qualifiers will be broadcasted live on Star Sports network.
The winner of the qualifiers will join India & Pakistan in the main draw of 2018 Asia Cup. The winner of the qualifiers will also qualify to play in the ACC Emerging Nations Asia Cup, likely to be played in Dec 2018 and to be jointly hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
