As part of their preparations for the upcoming ICC World T20 Asia “B” qualifiers to be held in Malaysia, Singapore will play host to Malaysia in a 3-match T20 series for the Stan Ngaiah Trophy in Sep 2018.
The 3 T20 matches will be played on 24th, 25th & 26th Sep 2018 at Singapore Indian Association ground and all matches will be day/night fixtures. All matches will start at 7:30 pm local time.
The Annual series will be played in T20 format for the first time in it’s 28th edition between the neighbours. Both competed in the recently concluded ACC Asia Cup qualifiers in Malaysia and will be competing again in the upcoming sub-regional qualifiers for three qualification spots from the 7-nation tournament.
Malaysia currently hold the trophy after the previous edition, which was played in the traditional 50-overs format.
