Malta Cricket Association (MCA) have announced the 15-member Men’s national squad for the upcoming 6-nation Continental Cup T20I tournament in Romania from September 02nd – 05th, 2021.
Cricket Romania are hosting Men’s teams from Luxembourg, Hungary, Bulgaria, Malta and Czech Republic at the Moara Vlasiei ground in Ilfov County. Host’s Romania, Malta and Luxembourg are grouped together, while Hungary, Bulgaria and Czech Republic are placed in the other group. All teams will play each other in a single round-robin group stage format, before the top 2 from each group will advance to the semifinals.
Malta have played a good number of T20Is in 2021, having played a bi-lateral series against Belgium in July 2021, along with participating in a T20I Tri-series in Portugal in August 2021.
