Malta Cricket Association (MCA) will be hosting the Men’s National team of Austria and Hungary for a T20 International Tri-series (with ICC ranking points) and Women’s National team of Spain for bi-lateral T20 International series (with ICC ranking points) from February 03rd – 05th, 2025 at Marsa Sports club ground. Both the series will be live broadcast on European Cricket Network platforms.
The Women’s series will be the first meeting in T20Is between Malta and Spain Women, and thus also making this the maiden bi-lateral series between the teams. Similarly, the Men’s series will also mark the first-ever meeting in T20Is and thus, a maiden bi-lateral series between Malta and Austria Men’s teams. Both Malta Cricket Association and Austrian Cricket Association have recently formed the European Cricket Association (ECA), along with four (4) other member boards in the European region, and will likely see their National teams meet more often in the coming years.
