Match schedule announced for ICC EAP squads in 2018 Australian Country Championships

ICC East Asia-Pacific squads (Men’s and Women’s) will be travelling to Geraldon, Western Australia to take part in 2018 Toyota Australian Country Cricket Championships (ACCC).

The ACCC, which started in 1984/85, is an annual tournament for the best cricket talent from regional areas around Australia and from the East Asia-Pacific region.

The tournament will take place from Jan 05th – 13th, 2018. Men’s competition will start from the Jan 05th while the Women’s competition will start from Jan 07th.

ICC EAP Men’s Team:

Sese Bau (PNG), Damien Ravu (PNG), Kipling Doriga (PNG), Nosiana Pokana (PNG), Hiri Hiri (PNG), Jason Kila (PNG), Patrick Matautaava (Vanuatu), Nalin Nipiko (Vanuatu), Wesley Viraliliu (Vanuatu), Joshua Rasu (Vanuatu), Rinald Tari (Vanuatu), Jelany Chilia (Vanuatu), Williamsing Nalisa (Vanuatu) & Trevor Langa (Vanuatu)

ICC Men’s squad will be coached by Joe Rika (Fiji) and Shane Deitz (Vanuatu).

Brenda Tau (PNG), Vicky Ara’a (PNG), Kaia Arua (PNG), Pauke Siaka (PNG), Konio Oala (PNG), Helen Buruka (PNG), Ravini Oa (PNG), Sibona Jimmy (PNG), Selina Solman (Vanuatu), Rachel Andrew (Vanuatu), Leimauri Chilia (Vanuatu), Judy Avok (Vanuatu) & FIlimaua Malotutoatasi (Samoa)

The Women’s team will be coached by Eddie Mansale (Vanuatu) and Bebe Miyaji (Japan).

Round 2, 5th Jan, 2018 – EAP vs South Australia Country

Round 3, 6th Jan, 2018 – EAP vs New South Wales Country

Round 4, 6th Jan, 2018 – EAP vs Western Australia Country

Round 5, 7th Jan, 2018 – EAP vs Victoria Country

Women’s Division (ACCC)

Round 1, 7th Jan, 2018 – EAP vs South Australia Country

Round 2, 8th Jan, 2018 – EAP vs Queensland Country

Round 3, 8th Jan, 2018 – EAP vs Western Australia Country

Round 4, 9th Jan, 2018 – EAP vs Victoria Country

The tour will be vital for PNG men’s squad players in the EAP team, for preparations for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers. Vanuatu players will use the exposure before ICC WCL Division 4 in Malaysia in June 2018.
