MCC announce tours of Tanzania & Kenya

Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) will begin their final tour of the 2017 season to Tanzania & Kenya following successful tours earlier in the year to Mexico & Belize in March, Germany in June and China & Hong Kong in September and October.

MCC will be playing three T20 matches and two 50-over matches in Dar-el-Salaam, at the UDSM (University of Dar-el-Salaam) Sports Ground.

The squad will then move over to Kenya, where they will face a Kenya Select XI at the Nairobi Club, as the final match of the tour, before returning back home.

MCC Head of Cricket John Stephenson said: “MCC are delighted to be able to support Tanzania Cricket’s development, and we have selected a squad that we hope will provide challenging opposition for the matches in both Tanzania and Kenya.

“The trip completes another successful schedule of MCC overseas tours for this year with another group of playing members getting the chance to represent the club globally, whilst helping to grow the game in areas less associated with cricket.”
