MCC announce T20 series with combined European XI in April 2026

Following the success of the MCC vs Europe U13 Men’s One-day fixture held in 2025, Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) is expanding the opportunity to European emerging talent from the region’s Associate Member countries this year with more fixtures in the T20 format for both Women’s European XI and Men’s European U23 XI teams. The teams will also get access to train under ICC level 3 and ECB level 4 coaching staff during the series duration.

The Women’s European XI team will play two (2) matches with MCC Women’s team, that includes a fixture at Lord’s cricket ground. The Men’s U23 European XI will play a four (4) match series with MCC team. Most of the players will be in action for their respective countries in the upcoming Europe Sub-regional Qualifiers towards qualification for 2028 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

ICC Europe’s Regional Development Manager Andy Wright “To have 17 of our 32 Associate Member Nations represented in the two camps and sets of fixtures is a great testament to the growth of the game in Europe. We’re always looking to provide new opportunities for the best young players in the region. Our thanks also must go to the MCC team for the opportunity to compete at such historic grounds against such a wonderful club. We can’t wait to see the players show their stuff now.”
