Bowlers dominated the proceedings yet again in the 4th Youth ODI between Bangladesh U-19 and Afghanistan U-19.

Mujeeb Zadran’s 7/19 wrecked the Bangladeshi batting line-up to set up a 45 runs victory for Afghanistan U-19 to take 2-1 lead in the 5 match series with 1 match remaining.

Earlier, Nisar Wahdat’s knock of 53 runs & Darwish Rasooli’s 23 saved Afghan U-19 the blushes as they managed to post 134 before getting all out in 45 overs.

Nayeem Hasan (5/38), Saif Hassan (3/7) & Hasan Mahmud (2/25) picked up all the 10 wickets amongst themselves for the Bangladeshi team.

Bangladesh batsmen fell like pack of cards and if not for Mahidul Muyean’s 43 and Nayeem Hasan’s 30, the team would have been wrapped up even more earlier than the time it took to bowl them out for 88 in 30.3 overs.

Along with Mujeeb, Qais Ahmad also picked up 2/22. Bangladesh U-19 need to win the final match in the series to level it at 2-2. Advantage Afghanistan U-19 for now.
