Cricket Namibia have announced the squad and the schedule for the upcoming tour by Botswana Women’s squad, who will be playing in a 5-match T20I series against the host nation at Windhoek. All matches will be played at United Cricket Club ground at Windhoek.
Namibia Women’s Squad, who are scheduled to take part in the upcoming ICC Women’s WT20 Africa qualifiers in Zimbabwe in May 2019, will use these matches to prepare themselves for the qualifiers. Namibia Women hosted Zimbabwe Women at the start of 2019 in a 5-match T20I series as well at Walvis Bay, which they lost in a whitewash by Zimbabwe Women, however the experience to put them in good stead when they travel to Zimbabwe for the African qualifiers.
Namibia Women last played against Botswana Women in the Botswana Women’s 7s tournament held in Botswana in 2018, which Namibia Women won.
