Cricket Namibia (CN) will be hosting Men’s teams from Jersey and United States (USA) for a T20 Tri-series in the month of June/July 2022, as told by CEO Johan Muller to The Namibian. Namibia are scheduled to take part in the 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia in October, and the Tri-series will be ideal preparations for the team, which also has lots of ODI games scheduled in the year to make up for the lost time in the CWC League 2 Championships in the past couple of years due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The series will provide much needed T20 preparation for Men’s teams of Jersey and USA, who will be travelling to Zimbabwe in July 2022 to take part in 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Global qualifiers B. Both Jersey and USA have qualified for the tournament from their respective regional (Europe and Americas) qualification tournaments held in 2021 in Spain and Antigua.

Are all of these t20s in this series considered as t20is? Or is there no international status for the t20s?
The matches will be regular T20 games. All the cricket boards participating have decided on this and have not applied for them to have T20I status for ranking points.
Thanks and regards,

What a ridiculous decision that is. Ludicrous.
