Cricket Namibia (CN) had earlier announced their fixtures plans for the Men’s and Women’s national squads for the 2022 season, including the formation of the Men’s A team, with plenty of fixtures announced for the A team as well in the coming months. The Women’s team are also scheduled to play couple of home series in April 2022, before departing for an European tour in June/July 2022.
CN hosted the Women’s teams from Zimbabwe and Uganda in April 2022 during a Capricorn Women’s Tri-series, where they registered a win over Zimbabwe Women but ended up as the runners-up behind them in the Final of the tournament. The national squad will travel to Netherlands to take on the host’s from the 25th of June until the 01st of July 2022 in a 5-match WT20I series, before travelling to Germany for a WT20I series after the conclusion of the Dutch tour.
