Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) will host Women’s National teams from Rwanda, Tanzania and Sierra Leone in the 4th edition of NCF Women’s T20 Invitational tournament in Lagos from February 25th – March 03rd, 2024. Each team will face each other in a double round-robin group stage format-based event. The Nigerian Women’s team are the Defending Champions from the 2023 edition, while Rwanda Women were the Winners in the 2022 edition of the tournament. The tournament will have more significance in terms of preparations, with Women’s cricket being introduced in African Games 2023 in Accra, Ghana in March 2024, and Women teams of Nigeria, Rwanda and Tanzania are participating in the Games.
