As reported in Nepali Media, Nepal national men’s team will be travelling to UAE for preparatory tour before ICC WCL Division 2 in Namibia in Feb 2018.
Nepal were earlier reported to be touring South Africa for their preparatory camp but the arrangements haven’t materialized and now will be heading to ICC Global Cricket Academy in Dubai for a 7-day camp.
Nepal will play 3 practice games against local sides from UAE besides their training program at ICC Academy. The team leaves for Dubai on 27th Jan 2018. Currently the 21-member preliminary squad are engaged in inter-squad practice games in Nepal.
The team will depart for Namibia on 04th Feb 2018 for ICC WCL Division 2, where they will compete against Kenya, UAE, Namibia, Oman & Canada for the final 2 spots in ICC World Cup Qualifiers in Mar 2018 in Zimbabwe.
