The Netherlands Cricket Board (KNCB) and Cricket Namibia (CN) have made arrangements for their Men’s National team to play T20 matches in South Africa in January 2024 against SA20 franchise teams ahead of their tournament start, which will also start preparations for the Dutch and Namibian teams for the upcoming 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in June in the US and the Caribbean Islands. The Dutch team will be in action for the first time since their 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup campaign got over in India.
Both the teams will travel to Nepal in February 2024 for the beginning of the new cycle of 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup pathway program (CWC League 2), where they will play against the host’s in ODI matches and also have a T20I tri-series scheduled afterwards with them to continue their preparations for the T20 World Cup. Incidentally, Nepal will also be there for the marquee event in the US and the Caribbean Islands, so competitive games against fellow participants will always come in handy in the lead-up to the event.
