Koninklijke Netherlandse Cricket Bond (KNCB) have announced that after their participation in the 4-nation T20I Quadrangular series in Oman is done with, the National squad will travel to India from there as part of a 50-overs tour of the country.
Netherlands will play five 50-overs matches against State squads in Chennai and Bangalore from Feb 18th – Mar 02nd, 2018. The 4-nation T20I Quadrangular will be staged in Oman in Feb 2019.
As per ICC rules, the matches with the State squads will be eligible to carry List-A status. The match schedule, opponents and venue details will be announced in due course of time.
The tour will be crucial for Netherlands to further develop their 50-overs squad program as they head into the all-important ICC CWC Super League in 2020.
