After a week of thrilling 50-overs U19 action from various grounds in Essex county, Netherlands, France and Denmark secured the three qualification spots from the 9-nation Europe Division 2 into Division 1 for U19 Cricket World Cup qualification. The three qualifiers will thus join Jersey, Ireland and Scotland in the Europe Division 1 qualifiers, from which the winner will go on to participate in the 2020 ICC U19 Cricket World Cup.

While Netherlands and France secured their qualification spots by finishing on top of their respective groups, Denmark claimed the final spot after a play-off win over Guernsey.

Norway beat Italy in the 5th/6th play-off while Sweden got the better of Belgium in the 7th/8th play-off. Spain finished in the final place in the final overall standings for the team’s.

Netherlands finished unbeaten throughout the competition en-route to their title victory over France in the final.
