Netherlands Cricket to host Women’s ODI/T20I Tri-series in August 2024

Netherlands Cricket (KNCB) will be hosting the Women’s National teams of Scotland and Papua New Guinea (PNG) for a Women’s ODI and T20 International (with ICC ranking points) Tri-series from August 05th – 16th, 2024 at Kampong and VRA. The ODI series will be held from August 05th – 12th, with the three (3) teams facing each other in a double round-robin format, with the T20Is following thereafter.

The ODI matches are crucial for all the teams as they vie for the two (2) qualification spots into the Women’s World Cup Global Qualifier. Scotland and Papua New Guinea Women are yet to get an ICC team ODI rankings, as they haven’t played the minimum number of games to constitute a ranking, while Netherlands are currently thirteenth (13th) in the table. Top two (2) teams in the rankings among Thailand, Zimbabwe, Netherlands, Scotland, Papua New Guinea and United States of America at a cut-off date will advance to the Global Qualifier.
