Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) have announced that they will be hosting a multi-nation Women’s Invitational T20I tournament at the Tafawa Balewa Square Cricket Oval in Lagos, from March 26th – April 04th, 2022. NCF will host women’s teams from Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Ghana and The Gambia in the event, with ICC WT20I ranking points on offer towards the Team rankings table. All the teams are expected to arrive in Lagos on the 26th of March, and following the press conference and technical meetings on the 27th, the matches will begin from 28th March 2022.
All the competing teams will play each other in a single round-robin group stage format, following which the top 2 teams in the points table will contest in the Final.
